Tyche likes Muaadh....

Muaadh does not like anyone putting his hands on him while he sleeps. I try my level best to do it but he will remove the hands and sleep then. Oneday, he was fast asleep, so, I put my hands around him and slept well...

Tyche is from Netherland who worked in Ampara as a coordinator for Maltesar International (INGO) who was a good friend of mine in Ampara through coordination meetings and so on. She liked Muaadh very much and she came to see him on his 17th day and presented him a woolen puppy doll and two sets of dress. Once we went to Arugambay on a small trip where we met Tyche unexpectedly. She took him to the beach and played with him

Muaadh's circumcission...

Muaadh was having some sort of urine infection when he was around 4-7 months! We took him to a perdiatrician in Kandy and the doctor said he does not have any problem but he recomended for circumcission. When we returned back, we circumcised Muaadh in a very simple manner just by inviting our family members. It was at his 5th month, the right time for him to scroll up. What to do, after performing circumcission, we dint allow him to scroll for two weeks contineuosly which made Muaadh to walk directly without any scrolling like other children. 5 month was critical time to perform circumcission, he started crying a lot and everybody was upset and some were crying as Muaadh cried in pain. When I played songs in laptop and placed it in front of him, he was enjoying it without crying......

Now Muaadh is becoming so troublesome! U cant open ur computer, can't talk over the telephone and cant keep ur camera in front of him because he will demand that he wants to operate everything! Yesterday, he took my digital camera and said he want to take photographs but I was scared thinking he will drop the camera on the floor. When I snatched the camera from him, he went to his grandma and complained that I had hit him. U wanna see the pic he took... I dont know what he has taken but I like his first camera work!!!

Nusrath always complain that Muaadh has made some changes to her phone setting by pressing all the buttons. He does this coz he loves listening to songs especially a hindi song from Amir Khan's movie and this song is "bum bum Bole" Muaadh pronounce this song atleast 100 times a day. If u wanna feed him he will say I wanna watch bum bum bole. He eats before the computer watching this song. Once I was sitting next to him watching him watching this song. In the song Amir Khan puts his finger on his mouth say "Shhhhh" to be silent. I noticed Muaadh doing the same when he watches this song, he completely forgot I was sitting next to him coz he emerges when he watches this song. It was at his 4 months, if he cries, I take him to my laptop and show him something. So, Muaadh likes laptop very much....

We sometimes, specially my wife and her sister Zeenath always wear a scarf to Muaadh and see. The interesting thing is Muaadh likes wearing new cloths and this type of activities!

2nd day of Muaadh

Muaadh was brought to home from the hospital on the 3rd of September 2008, the day I was born! We all were a bit scared because of the two teeth of Muaadh which did not appear as teeth. After two weeks only we realized this! I wished he was born on the 3rd of Sep on my same birthdate but he was in a hurry!

Visit to Zoo

Today, 10th of July 2010, we all went to the Zoological garden in Dehiwela. An important thing to be remembered is that this was the first time that I had been to the Zoo in my life. lol. This trip was an unexpected one for us. I came from Vavuniya and Nusrath and Muaadh came from Maruthamunai and we all gathered at Fuaim's place in Damatagoda. The main reason for this gathering here to attend to Suaib uncle's wedding tomorrow on the 11th of July 2010 in Kandy. Today, we all are leaving to Kandy at 7.pm.

Eating ice cream is one of the favourite subjects of Muaadh. At the zoo, he saw an ice cream shop and demanded for one as usual. Could not avoid it but we all were scared that he was gonna mess up his shirt. Luckily, we had a small piece of cloth to cover to his shirt with it...

Muaadh bit me before I leave home.........

Muaadh was born with two teeth in the lower line and people said its something very rare! He started biting others who hold him on their cheek, nose etc, haha. At a time, he was really too much to bite others and it was around 5-9 months. It was yesterday, on 20th of June 2010, when I was getting ready to go to the bus stand to take bus to Vavuniya, I was holding him in my hands and he bit my cheek very powerfully and I was almost screaming......

Aslo, yesterday at the bus stand, he satrted to cry saying he wanna come with me. After that when he happens to see the buses, he has said his mother that that is the "lorry" that father went leaving him.

Ishad's (my wife's cousin) wedding is to be held on 18th of June 2010. We were very much inetersted in buying a "Kurdha" for our son to wear on the occasion of his wedding, and I tried for it at Nolimit in colombo but I could not find one for his size. But, Nusrath tried at many place and finally bought a Kurdha for him. Muaadh loves dressing too, like his parents, haha haha, yes, he is my son and this is what most of the people say when he wake up late in the morning, he is like his father, sleeping till 10.00am but I dont want him to take after me! You wanna see my son with his new Kurdha

Son's (Muaadh) Call

It was last week, Muaadh first asked me over the phone to buy him jelly. Now, he calls me very often asks for shirts! I love this, and I was waiting to hear this from my son for a long time. He starts to speak now and pronounciation is quite ok when you compare with other children of his same age.

It was during a trip to Jaffna, Muaadh learnt to speak a few more words as there was another boy, a son of my friend who joined us in the trip. Muaadh started paratification during this period of time. He has got two familiar words with him.. 1. Achcha-for good think (something he likes) 2. Kakka-for something he does not like, hahhaa. I love him and miss him and his childish actions as I am away from him working in Vavuniya! Miss u my son! Now he calls my mom very often and asks for Zuma, my sister's daughter, he likes her very much as they used to play with sand when he happends to go to my mother's place durng weekends.
